Navigating Ecological Crisis Through Poetry
This workshop will provide a welcoming space to process difficult emotions such as climate anxiety, ecological grief, and solastalgia—but also resilience and radical hope. Learn how to use poetry to notice, process, express, and connect around experiences of changing landscapes, natural disasters, loss, uncertainty, collective care, reciprocity, and our relationships to the more-than-human world. Recommended for adults. All experience levels welcome. Bring preferred writing materials or a computer. Presented in partnership with the District of Saanich.
