About

Award-winning Canadian vocalist and songwriter Cari Burdett closes her Don’t Forget Salish Sea Album Release Tour at home in the Cowichan Valley. This concert at the Duncan Showroom celebrates her first full-length collection of original songs in ten years.

Don’t Forget follows her album Magnolia, which was nominated for Best World Album at the 2016 Western Canadian Music Awards. This new collection of songs emerged after years of healing from a vocal injury, marking her return to music.

The album is described as an ode to remembering that we are not alone and that love is present in the natural world. The songs explore themes of love, loss, grief, and belonging, conveying a message of connection.

This Duncan show is the final stop on her four-community Salish Sea tour.
