About

Join award-winning Globe & Mail reporter and author Ian Bailey for a book signing at Munro's. He will be presenting his forthcoming book, "24 Sussex Drive: The Past and Future of Canada's Official Residence," co-authored with Dean Beeby.

The book explores the remarkable story of 24 Sussex Drive, from its beginnings as a lumber baron's mansion to its role as Canada's official residence for 75 years. It delves into the political dramas, security challenges, and everyday moments that occurred within its walls.

Drawing on archival materials and interviews, the book also examines the current state of neglect and decay of this national landmark. This is an opportunity to meet the author and learn about the history and future of this significant Canadian building.
