CineVic presents the 7th edition of One Take Super 8 on Vancouver Island, a global network of analogue filmmaking challenges and screenings. This event features the world premiere of new short movies created on celluloid Super 8 film by local participants.

Earlier this summer, participants were given a camera, a roll of film, and one week to create their own 3-minute Super 8 movie. The unique rule is no editing; filmmakers captured their scenes in order with no second chances.

The filmmakers will witness their work for the first time alongside the audience at two live screenings. Drinks will be available for purchase, and attendees are invited to mingle with the filmmakers after the show.
