 miere of new short movies created on celluloid Super 8 film by local parti
 cipants! The One Take Super 8 is a decentralized network of analogue filmm
 aking challenges and screenings presented across the globe. Since its foun
 ding in the year 2000 it has inspired the creation and screening of thousa
 nds of films in more than 50 international locations. CineVic proudly brin
 gs OTS8 back again for its 7th edition on Vancouver Island. Earlier this s
 ummer\, participants from Victoria and the surrounding region were given a
  camera\, a roll of film\, and one week to create their own 3-minute Super
  8 movie. The only catch: no editing. The filmmakers had to capture their 
 scenes in order with no second chances\, and they’ll witness their work 
 for the first time along with the audience at two live screenings! Drinks 
 will be available for purchase\, and the audience is invited to stay for a
  short mingle with the filmmakers after the show. Venue Accessibility 1411
  Quadra Street entrance is wheelchair accessible at street level. There is
