About
Cadboro-Gyro Park is an oceanfront park featuring a sandy beach and views of Cadboro Bay, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and the Olympic Mountains. The park is known for its unique playground with giant concrete sculptures of an octopus, salmon, and a sea serpent, inspired by the local legend of "Caddy," a sea monster reportedly sighted in the 1930s.
Visitors can enjoy picnicking, playing on the beach, or launching non-motorized boats. The park also includes tennis courts and is part of the Victoria Harbour Migratory Bird Sanctuary.
