Discover some of the ocean’s fascinating creatures during Tot Tuesday Stars of the Sea at the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea. Preschoolers and their adults can enjoy stories, crafts, and activities during this fun Tuesday morning program. Each Tot Tuesday explores a different ocean topic. This week’s theme is Stars of the Sea . Educators guide the activities and help young children discover more about marine life through play and learning. About Tot Tuesday Stars of the Sea Tot Tuesday Stars of the Sea is part of the Centre’s weekly program for preschoolers. Each Tuesday morning introduces a new ocean theme. Topics change throughout the season, giving families something different to discover each week. The program starts at 10:30 am. Educators share ocean-themed stories and lead crafts and activities. Together, these activities give young children a fun introduction to the ocean. The program is suitable for children ages 3 to 5. An adult must accompany each child. Families do not need to register in advance. However, space is limited. Standard admission rates apply. Annual Pass holders and members can also attend using their passes. After the program, families can continue exploring the aquarium and learn more about the Salish Sea.
