About

The Victoria Chess Club invites you to their weekly meetup at the Esquimalt Rec Center. This gathering offers a friendly and intellectual environment for chess enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. All necessary equipment is provided for play.

Each Wednesday evening is an opportunity for casual games, allowing members to enjoy the game and improve their skills. On the first Wednesday of each month, the club hosts a round of the Gonnason Cup, a club championship event. The third Wednesday features rounds of a seasonal event.

Whether you're looking for competitive play or just a relaxed game, the Victoria Chess Club provides a welcoming community to meet local players and engage in the strategic world of chess.
