The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is a fascinating and bizarre 1920 silent movie by Robert Wiene. It set a template for scary movies, noirs, and psychological thrillers with its warped visuals and surprise ending. The film's distorted perspective and expressionist sets create a nightmarish cinematic experience, combining romantic superstition with the world of psychiatric surveillance.
