About

The Peninsula Celebrations Society hosts the Treat Street Halloween Spooktacular, a community tradition that transforms Downtown Sidney into a safe, pedestrian-friendly trick-or-treat destination. Families are invited to stroll along Beacon Avenue, where local businesses and community treat stations hand out candy and goodies to children dressed in their favourite costumes.

Designed with families in mind, this event offers a fun, welcoming atmosphere where children can enjoy Halloween in a vibrant downtown setting. Beacon Avenue is closed to vehicle traffic, creating a safe environment for families to explore downtown while collecting treats from participating businesses. You will find decorated storefronts, friendly volunteers, and local merchants ready to welcome trick-or-treaters. The event is completely free to attend.
