About

The Salt Spring Forum presents Terri Givens, a best-selling author and Professor of Political Science at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Givens will lead a discussion on the upcoming U.S. midterm elections, addressing concerns about their fairness and potential impact.

Born, raised, and educated in the United States, Dr. Givens is uniquely positioned to offer insights into U.S. electoral politics. Her expertise includes comparative politics in Europe and the U.S., with a focus on immigration, anti-discrimination policy, and the politics of race.

Join the Forum and Dr. Terri Givens for a topical discussion about the U.S. midterms, where all 435 districts in the U.S. House of Representatives and 33 seats in the U.S. Senate are up for election.
