About

The Salt Spring Film Festival presents "Derek Vs Derek," a film that explores the humorous and turbulent relationship between two neighboring farmers, both named Derek. Set on a country road in Devon, England, these two men hold opposing views on farming practices.

One Derek is a proponent of intensive farming, while the other is dedicated to rewilding his entire farm. The film captures the escalating tensions, the escape of wild animals, and the transformation of the land as their conflict unfolds.

This screening offers a look into their often funny and always dynamic interactions.
