DESCRIPTION:Lecture details Through the global phenomenon Heated Rivalry\, 
 Prasanna Ranganathan will examine the power and limitations of inclusive s
 torytelling in challenging perceptions\, shattering stereotypes\, driving 
 policy progress\, and advancing law reform. Legal education and the courts
  often reduce lived experience and human-centered stories to clinical\, de
 contextualized fact patterns for application to legal frameworks and\, in 
 doing so\, ignore the power of stories to not only reflect the world in wh
 ich we live but imagine the world we seek to build. By analyzing media tro
 pes\, sports inclusion\, creative expression\, and the power of bearing wi
 tness\, this lecture invites students and future legal professionals to co
 nsider how storytelling can move beyond the foundation for legal analysis.
