The Legacy Art Gallery Downtown presents "WARA-WARA: An Exhibition of Street Art and Graffiti from Yogyakarta, Indonesia." This exhibition features vibrant street art and graffiti directly from Yogyakarta, offering a unique cultural perspective on urban artistic expression.

The University of Victoria Legacy Art Galleries, the university’s art museum, aims to engage visitors in learning and dialogue about important issues. The gallery works to develop engagement opportunities that enhance links between the university and the wider community.

This exhibition is part of the gallery's commitment to providing learning opportunities through exhibitions and public programs related to UVic's collection of Canadian, Indigenous, and international historic and contemporary art. The gallery acknowledges and respects the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Xʷsepsəm/Esquimalt) Peoples on whose territory the university stands, and the Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱ SÁNEĆ Peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.

Admission to the exhibition is free.
