Out Innerspace Dance Theatre

Out Innerspace Dance Theatre from Vancouver presents RHINO, a performance created by co-Artistic Directors Tiffany Tregarthen and David Raymond. This work features an unlikely constellation of characters who are past their heyday, prompting questions about whether their best days are behind them.

The performance balances comedy and tragedy, exploring themes of transformation, ritual, and humor. It delves into what is essential for enduring time and threatened extinction.

RHINO is a co-production of The CanDance Network Creation Fund, Agora de la danse, Dance Victoria, National Arts Centre, and La Rotunde. The dancing is described as athletic, satisfying, and accomplished, with a vision that is original, abstract, visceral, and challenging.
