FREE Workshop: Boulevard Gardening Sheet Mulching

The Compost Education Centre presents a free workshop on boulevard gardening sheet mulching. This session is part of their Organic Gardening collection and focuses on building fertile soil.

You will learn the principles behind sheet mulching, a fast process for creating rich soil where there was none, converting lawns into active gardens, or enriching existing ones. The workshop will also cover boulevard gardening guidelines, explaining how to utilize public spaces to build soil and community.

The workshop includes a practical component where participants will build a sheet mulch garden on a grassy boulevard. This hands-on experience will demonstrate how to transform a landscape using these techniques.
