About

UPSTAIRS ENTERTAINMENT presents The Boom Booms, bringing their blend of soul, reggae, rock, and Latin roots to Victoria. The Boom Booms formed after a six-month tour through Latin America in 2008.

For nearly two decades, The Boom Booms have cultivated a sound rooted in sunshine, soul, and the West Coast. Their debut album, "Hot Rum," showcased a mix of folk, rock, reggae, African, and Latin influences.

This sound quickly resonated with audiences across British Columbia, leading to sold-out venues and appearances at major festivals. Attendees can expect a lively performance from this group.
