About

CineVic presents the 7th edition of One Take Super 8 on Vancouver Island, featuring the world premiere of new short movies. Local participants were given a camera and a roll of film to create their own 3-minute Super 8 movie with no editing allowed.

Filmmakers captured their scenes in order with no second chances and will witness their work for the first time along with the audience at these live screenings.

Drinks will be available for purchase, and the audience is invited to stay for a short mingle with the filmmakers after the show.
