About

Join HAT and the Friends of Havenwood Park for a morning of park stewardship. This ongoing event invites volunteers to participate in hands-on activities focused on maintaining and enhancing the park's natural environment in Colwood.

Volunteers will work to remove invasive species such as Scotch broom, Himalayan blackberry, and English holly. The group also plants native species to support the park's biodiversity and overall ecosystem health.

This is an opportunity to contribute directly to the health of a local park, learn about native ecosystems, and enjoy time outdoors while connecting with other park stewards.
