About

CineVic presents the One Take Super 8 Film Screening, showcasing new short movies created on celluloid Super 8 film by local participants. This event is part of a global network of analogue filmmaking challenges, with CineVic proudly bringing it back for its 7th edition on Vancouver Island.

Filmmakers were given a camera, a roll of film, and one week to create a 3-minute Super 8 movie with no editing. They captured their scenes in order and will witness their work for the first time along with the audience at these live screenings.

Drinks will be available for purchase, and the audience is invited to mingle with the filmmakers after the show. The same film program will run on both nights.
