About

The Royal Victoria Marathon offers a variety of races for all levels, including a full marathon, half marathon, 8K, 5K, and a Kids Run. Participants will experience a scenic course that winds through the quiet streets of Victoria and Oak Bay, featuring stunning ocean views.

The 5K and Kids Run events are held on Saturday, starting and finishing at Willows Beach Park in Oak Bay. The Marathon, Half Marathon, and 8K races take place on Sunday, beginning and ending in the heart of the Inner Harbour in downtown Victoria.

This event is a Boston qualifier and a World Athletics sanctioned event, known for its fast courses where many runners achieve personal bests.

There are no refunds or deferrals allowed for 2026. Insurance can be purchased during registration. Registration transfers to another person are permitted until October 3, 2026 at 9:00 am for an administrative fee.
