About

Bučan Bučan, formed in Victoria in 2010, brings a high-energy dance party experience. They blend traditional Eastern European Balkan brass songs with modern interpretations, drawing inspiration from Romania, Serbia, Romani traditions, Turkey, and old Macedonia.

The band is known for its beautiful vocal harmonies and driving dance hall beats that encourage audience participation. Their live shows often extend into the crowd, with everyone singing together on the dance floor.

For over a decade, Bučan Bučan has performed across British Columbia, including at The Great Canadian Beer Fest, Rifflandia, and The Nightshift, Victoria’s Halloween party.
